Q: Do we have a CPA? (Crime Prevention Administrator)
A: FNW does not have a Crime Prevention Administrator as much of
these duties fall upon the FNW board and the Police Liaison and Facilitator.
Q: Who is a District Coordinator?
A: A District Coordinator is a person that works on a community level
and helps to promote and guide neighborhood watch efforts for that specific
area. This person may be a member of and/or assigned this task via
their HOA Board, or simply a Block Captain that is willing to step up and
take a more active role. District Coordinators are encouraged to have
local meetings with their respective Block Captains as well as the residents
in general and should attend as many FNW monthly meetings as possible.
Q: Do I need to preset official identification when I
introduce myself to neighbors?
A: FNW is in the process of getting ID cards made up for Block
Captain and District Coordinators, this will help with the introduction
phase. For now feel free to craft a flyer or email that introduces you
and describes FNW. An example of such a document can be found
by clicking here.
Feel free to modify this document, it is in ms-word format.
Q: Is the best way to distribute information by putting
it in a mailbox?
A: If you put anything in a mailbox make sure it has been
stamped and mailed. We recommend mailing information or communicating
via email.
