- • NEVER leave the keys in your vehicle
- • ALWAYS LOCK the doors, even when you are away from the
vehicle for a short time
- • REMOVE/HIDE ITEMS (purses, CD's, backpacks, money,
“pull-out” steroes or stereo faceplates, etc.). If you have
to leave them put them in a place that is out of view (in the trunk or
under the seat)
- PARK IN YOUR GARAGE or in your driveway or near your house so that the
vehicle can be viewed periodically
- • PARK IN LIGHTED AREAS or install lighting if needed
