MAN DIES AFTER BEING STABBED March 23, 2008 (Frisco TX.) On Sunday morning at approximately 12:07am, Frisco Police and Fire personnel responded to a possible stabbing in the 5600 Block of Preston North Drive. Responding officers discovered a male victim lying on the road, unconscious, and bleeding from his torso. The victim, Adrian Tristan, 25, from Mexico, was transported to Centennial Medical Center of Frisco, where he later died from his injuries. After interviewing witnesses, Frisco Police obtained a Murder Warrant for Samuel Martinez, 24, of Frisco. After an extensive search of the area by Frisco Police Detectives and Texas Ranger A. P. Davidson, Mr. Martinez surrendered to Frisco Police at approximately 3:00pm. He is being held in the City of Frisco Detention Facility on a $500,000.00 bond. Detectives have determined that the death of Mr. Tristan was the result of a verbal altercation between him and Martinez. The Frisco Police Department would like to thank Univision KUVN 23 for their assistance with communicating with Mr. Martinez family members regarding this offense.
